In celebration of its 25th anniversary, the museum will be open and free to the public.

The Andy Warhol Museum is the largest museum in the United States dedicated to a single artist, Pittsburgh native Andy Warhol (1928-1987). It is a component of the Carnegie Museums Of Pittsburgh. Born Andrew Warhola, the artist was a leading figure in the pop art movement of the 1950s and 1960s which found inspiration in mass culture. Members of the Warhola family continue to live in and near Pittsburgh.

Activities throughout the day include hands-on artmaking, gallery talks and activities, live performances, and a participatory art installation created by interdisciplinary artist Alisha Wormsley. For more information, call (412) 237-8300.
