Embrace the furry within by experiencing one of the largest anthropomorphics conventions in the world.
An anthropomorphic character is an animal with human traits. Such characters first appeared as magical beings and deities in ancient cultures. Today, they are often associated with popular culture ranging from children’s literature to more adult entertainment. An enthusiast is known as a “furry” because of the fun costumes worn at anthropomorphic events.
Anthrocon’s programming includes workshops and seminars in acting, costume-building, animation, writing, art & design and more. A special highlight of the convention is its annual auction which raises tens of thousands of dollars for a local charity.
