This exhibition showcases local artist Keny Marshall’s kinetic and sculptural works.

Using found objects and hand-built devices, Marshall constructs mechanisms that are often ridiculous parodies of technology. Models of natural systems and collections of objects re-combined with transparent inner workings oppose the idea that the things you own should be controlled by someone else.

The exhibit’s title comes from the scientific term for one the distinct parts of a shadow created by any light source.

Admission is free. Presented in conjunction with the Pittsburgh International Festival of Firsts, a program of the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust that features exhibits and performances making their North American, United States or even World debut.
