Classic comic book superhero Aquaman finally gets his own live-action film with this rousing 2018 adaptation.

The character was first introduced in 1941. In this interpretation, the hero is born the son of the Queen Atlanna of Atlantis and her human husband. The boy is named Arthur and has the power to communicate with marine creatures. But Arthur’s ambitious half-brother (and Atlanna’s successor) King Orm has a diabolical plan to expand his realm — and keep Arthur from claiming the throne.

Admission is free. Times given are approximations as the screening begins at sunset. Presented by the City of Pittsburgh Department of Parks & Recreation (commonly called CitiParks). for more information, call (412) 255-2493.
