The Pittsburgh Festival Opera presents this sizzling 60’s dance party with a sneak preview of the forthcoming “La Boheme Warola”

First performed in 1896, “La Boheme” is an opera in four acts written by Italian composer Giacomo Puccini (1858-1924) that tells of the lives, loves, comedic moments and tragedies of a group of impoverished young people in Paris. “La Boheme Warola” is an innovative adaptation centered around pop art pioneer and Pittsburgh native Andy Warhol (1928-1987) and his colorful circle in 1960’s New York City.

Sixties attire encouraged. Tickets include one drink ticket and light bites. Proceeds benefit the Pittsburgh Festival Opera,  which annually produces a mix of new operas, rarely performed works and classic works done in new ways — all sung in English.
