Award winning conductor George Daugherty leads the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra for a fun blend of music and animation.

Founded in 1895 by British composer, conductor and organist Frederic Archer (1838-1901), the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra is one of America’s oldest and most prestigious orchestras having performed around the world including a 2004 concert for Pope John Paul II (1920-2005).

The orchestra will be performing the scores of classic “Looney Tunes” cartoon shorts while the films are screened overhead. The “Looney Tunes” series of animation movies were produced by Warner Bros. from 1930 to 1969. These hand-drawn, brilliantly scripted shorts introduced beloved characters such as Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and Elmer Fudd.
