The Pumpkin Festival is a great way to spend a day with the family and enjoy the fall weather. Start a new family tradition by taking a hay ride to a pumpkin patch and pick out this year’s holiday decorations.
Native to North America, pumpkins are one of the oldest domesticated plants, having been used as early as 7,500 BCE.
The cost of the hayride is $5.00 per person. Children 2 years and under are free when accompanied by an adult. Other activities include a petting zoo, hay-theme fun and lots more.
Prices do not include the cost of the pumpkin — all pumpkins picked in the patch will be brought back to the barn and weighed to determine the price. For more information, call (724) 368-3233.
