This delightful 2018 film stars Ewan McGregor (and some impressive special effects) and offers a fresh take on the Winnie the Pooh books written by English author A. A. Milne (1882-1956).

First introduced in 1926, Winnie is a fictional anthropomorphic teddy bear and the best friend of the boy Christopher Robin (inspired by Milne’s own son and his toy bear). This charming adaptation follows an adult Christopher who has lost his sense of imagination — only to be reunited with his old stuffed bear friend.
