East Liberty residents are encouraged to meet with their neighbors for a drink and a conversation.

In the 1700’s, what is now East Liberty was open grazing land (at “liberty” for common use) outside Pittsburgh’s original city limits. By the mid 1800’s it became a valuable commercial area and was annexed by the city. After a period of decline following World War II (1939-1945), the neighborhood began reviving in the 1990’s.

This monthly gathering throughout the summer highlights accomplished figures and pressing concerns of East Liberty and its adjacent neighborhoods.
