This magical, musical show based on the much-loved book by award winning English children’s author Cressida Cowell.
Sweet and smart little girl Emily Brown and her stuffed rabbit Stanley have trouble sleeping one night. A lonely creature known as The Thing is crying outside her window because he needs his milk and medicine. So, Emily and Stanley agree to help — which sets them off on incredible adventures to the Dark and Scary Wood, the Whirling Wastes and beyond.
Presented as part of the Children’s Theater Festival, a project of the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust to stage live performances to engage children in different cultures and perspectives. The festival is sponsored by Pittsburgh-based energy firm EQT Corporation.
