Don’t miss this magnificent display of delicious dwellings created by area individuals, organizations, senior citizens, students and chefs.

A gingerbread house is a novelty confectionery shaped like a building that is made of baked cookie dough. The tradition of making decorated gingerbread houses started in Germany in the early 1800s. As they became more elaborate they became associated with Christmas.

There is no charge for admission.The exhibit is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Donations are collected for the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh’s Free Care Fund.
