Award winning actress Jamie Lee Curtis made her screen debut in this classic 1978 horror film as a babysitter being terrorized by an escaped mental patient.
That mental patient is Michael Myers (portrayed alternately by Nick Castle and Tony Moran), who was committed to a sanitarium at age 6 for murdering his babysitting teenage sister on Halloween night. Michael escapes 15 years later, with his desperate psychologist (Donald Pleasance) in anxious pursuit, returning to his hometown where becomes violently obsessed with teenager Laurie Strode (Curtis) and her friends.
