Come to the conservatory’s welcome center for an installation offering examples of various schools of ikebana.

Ikebana is the Japanese art of flower arranging that reached its first zenith in the 16th century under the influence of Buddhist tea masters and has grown over the centuries, with numerous distinct schools extant today.

Presented in conjunction with the Ikebana International Pittsburgh Chapter.
