An adjunct professor at Duquesne University, musician Thomas Wendt is joined by other artists in a unique learning concert pairing the music of Charles Mingus with the paintings of Norman Klenicki.
Charles Mingus (1922-1979) is considered to be one of the greatest jazz musicians and composers in history. The son of Holocaust survivors, Norman Klenicki (born 1954) is a self-taught artist inspired by his lived experience and the memories his family carried with them.
