The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra’s annual concert pays tribute to the spirit and richness of Black music in America—and its enduring strength in times of tumult and trouble.

Founded in 1895 by British composer, conductor and organist Frederic Archer (1838-1901), the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra (PSO) is one of America’s oldest and most prestigious orchestras having performed around the world including a 2004 concert for Pope John Paul II (1920-2005).

Join the PSO, the Lift Every Voice Unity Choir and special guests for an uplifting evening that both brings together and celebrates community.
