Get ready for the holidays with this hand-building ceramics workshop.
Human beings appear to have been making their own ceramics for at least 26,000 years by subjecting clay and silica to intense heat to fuse and form ceramic materials. These materials have been used to create both practical and artistic items. The word “ceramic” comes from a Greek word meaning “of pottery.”
Using slabs of clay, you will create snowflake shaped ornaments to hang on the tree, or to gift to your friends and family!
