Featuring exquisite examples of beauty and craftsmanship by makers such as Louis Comfort Tiffany (1848-1933) and René Lalique (1860-1945), this exhibition celebrates the impact of women on the innovative and imaginative jewelry of the early 1900s.

Women are a significant part of this story, not only as the market for jewelry, but as makers and as inspiration.

This exhibition also features examples of related decorative arts, and explores the social context of women taking a larger, more modern role in the workplace and on the cultural stage.
