A trio of life-long friends — guitarist Graham Young, bassist Adam Reed and pianist Christian Wilder — come together as the Michigan Rattlers to play heavy-hearted folk-rock with an aching dose of Midwestern nice.
The band takes its name from the snake massasauga, which is often called a Michigan rattler. A pit viper, a Michigan rattler’s bite can be fatal.
