In the second half of the twentieth century many impressive buildings have been added to Pittsburgh’s Downtown.

Major construction materials and technological innovations were pioneered, developed and made in Pittsburgh, including iron, steel, aluminum, glass, wire cables and much more.

On this walk you will track down outstanding structures of various materials and styles, that are now making Pittsburgh’s skyline so unique.
