Starting at the shopping center and continuing down Route 22, the civic organizations and other entitles proudly march in celebration of America’s birthday.

Monroeville is one of Pittsburgh’s major suburbs, with a population of approximately 30,000 people living in a community east of the city. It’s named in honor of Joel Monroe (1793-1877), the region’s first postmaster. He owned a farm on what is now part of Monroeville.
