Formed in 1997, the Minneapolis band Motion City Soundtrack continues to be a leading light in the punk-pop genre with lyrics that often touch on themes of anxiety, alienation and relationships.
Motion City makes notable use of a 1960’s-era analog synthesizer developed by engineer Robert Moog (1934-2005) which underscores the band’s distinctive sound.
