Step into a daydream that unfolds before your eyes through the imagination of Dutch choreographer/dancer Erik Kaiel and the stories of Japanese author Haruki Murakami.

Haruki Murakami’s novels explore themes of alienation and loneliness through surrealistic and melancholic stories. Using these novels as inspiration, creates an intensely physical and absurd outdoor performance trail tailored specifically for the Pittsburgh Cultural District.

Presented as part of the Children’s Theater Festival, a project of the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust to stage live performances to engage children in different cultures and perspectives. The festival is sponsored by Pittsburgh-based energy firm EQT Corporation.
