Featuring a recurring cast of characters in continuing stories, “Mythburgh” pushes the limits of live theater by engaging audiences online and in person.
Presented by 12 Peers Theater, a company founded in 2011 with the mission to provide challenging and engaging theater through contemporary works exploring myth and cultural identity. The company’s name is a reference to the Twelve Peers of Charlemagne, the legendary council of knights that supported Emperor Charlemagne (742CE-814CE) during his rule of Europe’s Carolingian Empire (800CE-888CE).
