This wild and funny 1978 film is about a trouble-making fraternity in the 1960’s whose members challenge the authority of the dean at their college.

No fraternity at Faber College is more notorious than the Delta Tau Chi: low test scores, lots of uncontrolled partying and a trash heap passing for a frat house. The dean is fed up with the Deltas, the tyrannical dean closes the house and expels its members — who decide that the upcoming homecoming parade is the perfect opportunity for revenge.

The film was produced by National Lampoon (1970-1998), an influential humor magazine spun off by a similar publication at Harvard University. The film was largely inspired by the college experiences of Lampoon writer Douglas Kenney (1945-1980).
