Experience the magic of the beloved tale of “The Nutcracker “in a new, jazzy way:
“The Nutcracker” made its debut in 1892 featuring an eternal score written by noted Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky (1840-1893). Set on Christmas Eve, it’s the tale of a little girl named Clara who receives a magical nutcracker that leads her into the radiant Land of Enchantment — a place brimming with virtuosic dances from faraway lands
Confluence Ballet Company is proudly partnering with other non-profits to present a version using music from Duke Ellington, Billy Strayhorn and David Berger.
There will also be a matinee performance at 2:00pm
