Popular local restaurant Tambellini’s dares all at this pasta eating contest.
Legend says that Italian explorer Marco Polo (1254-1324) discovered pasta on a trip to China and brought the recipe back to Italy where it has since become a key part of Italian cosine.
The winner will receive a $100 Tambellini’s catering gift certificate (also good for food from Tambellini’s at the festival), a Little Italy Days T-Shirt and bragging rights. If you are interested, come to the Little Italy Days info booth next to First National Bank.
