Pittsburgh’s legendary professional baseball team — the winner of five World Series trophies — takes to the diamond against the Toronto Blue Jays.
With an impressive history dating to 1882, the team is often known by the nicknames “Bucs” and “Buccos,” derived from another name for pirates, buccaneers.
In recognition of Father’s Day, kids and their dads will receive a Pirates logo batting practice cap. In addition, the first 1,000 youth baseball/softball players and coaches to register will join a pre-game ceremony on the field.
