This exhibition showcases the work of Philadelphia artist Andrew Chalfen.
Andrew Chalfen’s paintings, drawings, and mixed media pieces focus on patterns that vibrate, bloom, cluster, and break apart, often in dazzling color. At times they are constructivist, abstract geometric, cartographic, op art and psychedelic.
His work is obsessively detailed, wryly playful and musical —– full of catchy riffs, hooks and colliding poetic forms.
