Toni Braxton is one of today’s most accomplished artists — she’s a singer, songwriter, pianist, record producer, actress, television personality and philanthropist.

Blending fire and finesse, Toni uses her distinctive contralto voice to grace the audience with soulful rhythm & blues sophisticated enough for adults but sultry enough for younger listeners.

Pride Month is an annual celebration of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community. The word and concept of “pride” is in direct opposition to that of “shame” (or social stigma), which sexual minorities have had to endure for centuries. June is chosen as Pride Month in recognition of the Stonewall Riots, which happen in New York City on June 28, 1969. This event marked the start to what is now the LGBT Rights Movement.

Pittsburgh Pride is organized and run by the Delta Foundation of Pittsburgh. The mission of the Delta Foundation of Pittsburgh is to be a vigilant catalyst for change that produces increased opportunities and a high quality of life for the LGBT community in Western Pennsylvania.

This outdoor concert will be staged at 9th Street and Ft. Duquesne Boulevard.
