The Bronx-born, female, Puerto Rican, Russian-American disc jockey DJ Perly will discuss her career and passion for the art of turntablism.
In 2017, DJ Perly became the first female ever to represent the United States at the Disco Mix Club’s (DMC) annual World Disc Jockey Championships.
Present as part of the Pittsburgh Humanities Festival, a project co-produced by the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust that brings together internationally-renowned academics, artists and intellectual innovators.
