This engaging and exciting musical revue showcases the accomplishments of Stephen Sondheim.

Composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim (1930-2021) is considered one of the most important figures in twentieth-century musical theater. His catalog includes “West Side Story” (1957), “Gypsy” (1959), “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum” (1962), “Company” (1970) and “Into the Woods” (1987). Sondheim’s songs are known for complex melodies, angular harmonies and witty lyrics.

The revue features taped interviews with Sondheim. The songs are from nineteen Sondheim shows produced over a 62-year period.
