The local duo Surefire is actually musician/songwriters (and in-laws) Natalie Flango and Jason Duty, who craft edgy, melodic, pop-rock tunes that range from rhythmic anthems to soulful ballads — all which feature a message of hope and strength.
This free, outdoor concert is being staged in the “Backyard,” a space in the parking lot located at the corner of Penn Avenue and Eighth Street. Presented as part of the Three Rivers Arts Festival, a 10-day celebration of visual and performing arts produced by the nonprofit Pittsburgh Cultural Trust and primarily sponsored by local financial firm Dollar Bank.
