This class features hands-on instruction for all tai chi movements, making this class suitable for both beginners and those with prior experience.
Originating as a martial art in Chinese monasteries more than eight hundred years ago, tai chi is today used as a form of low-stress exercise. Participants move and stretch in slow, careful and almost choreographed ways.
The label “tai chi” is a variation of the Chinese words for “supreme fist.” Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes. For more information, call (412) 237-1890.
