Experience how the recent renovation of the Benedum-Trees Building reinterprets classical elements for the digital age.

Constructed in 1905, the Benedum-Trees Building was the long-time headquarters of the oil company owned by entrepreneurs Michael Benedum (1869-1959) and Joseph Trees (1870-1943). The 19-story building is an excellent example of Neo-classical architecture.

During the tour, visitors will see a three-story complex of offices for the technology firm Avenue Four Analytics. Visitors will see the open concept work spaces, private offices and gathering room. Here, classic architecture, wood paneling, bronze casework and travertine meet state of the art technology.

The building is also home to the Benter Foundation. Additional tours begin at 11:00 a.m. and Noon. Presented as part of Doors Open Pittsburgh, which celebrates Pittsburgh’s unique heritage by providing visual storytelling and education inside iconic and newly designed buildings. For more information, call (412) 583-1424.
