The first-rate computer animation technology of this 2018 film brings freshness to the 1957 children’s book How the Grinch Stole Christmas written by Theodor “Dr. Seuss” Geisel (1904-1991).

Everyone in the fictional town of Whoville is excited about the upcoming Christmas holiday — everyone, that is, except for a cantankerous, green furred creature called The Grinch. He decides to “steal” the holiday by dressing as Santa to steal all the presents. But one little girl may change his plans.

Admission is free. Times given are approximations as the screening begins at sunset. Presented by the City of Pittsburgh Department of Parks & Recreation (commonly called CitiParks). for more information, call (412) 255-2493.
