This 2019 Polish film is a dramatic story about three people tangled up in a love relationship.

Foreman Kacper is having a love affair with the wife of his friend, Oskar, also a miner. He sends Oskar off to the most distant and dangerous parts of the mine so that he himself has freedom of meeting with his mistress. During one such rendezvous, a rock burst at the mine cuts off Oskar’s exit to safety. Realizing they were the indirect cause of the trapped man’s plight, the lovers throw themselves into the middle of rescue operation. Sense of guilt and too many unresolved problems force the lovers to look for the answers in themselves, despite the intensity of their feelings.
