The legendary baritone Levi Stubbs provides the voice for a man-eating plant in this hilarious 1986 film adaptation of the hit stage musical.
Nebbish florist Seymour Krelboyne (Rick Moranis) pines for his sexy co-worker Audrey (Ellen Greene) and frustrates his struggling boss Mr. Mushnik (Vincent Gardenia). But his dismal existence starts to brighten after discovering an unusual plant he christens Audrey II. But soon Seymour discovers that Audrey II can talk, sing, move — and demands human blood to survive.
The original stage musical was based on a low-budget 1960 film of the same name starring Pittsburgh native Jonathan Haze.
