This award-winning 2021 computer animated film follows the adventures of a dysfunctional family whose road trip takes an unexpected turn.
Technophobic dad Rick Mitchell (voice of Danny McBride) decides to drive his daughter Katie (Abbi Jacobson) to college. Along for the ride are mom Linda (Maya Rudolph), younger brother Aaron (Mike Rianda) and their dog, Monchi. But those stretches of boredom on the highway are disrupted when a computer entrepreneur’s latest project malfunctions — leading intelligent robots to rise up against humanity.
