Acclaimed playwright Lauren Gunderson makes her Pittsburgh debut with this radical and meta-theatrical comedy about four bad ass women out to change the world.

Set during the confusing and often bloody French Revolution (1789-1799), this brilliantly funny play imagines the efforts of three real women trying anything and everything to avoid losing her head: playwright Olympe de Gouges (1748-1793), radical Charlotte Corday (1768-1793) and Queen Marie Antoinette (1755-1793) — plus the fictional Caribbean freedom fighter Marianne Angelle.

This production features an all-female creative team led by Jade King Carroll, director of 2015’s critically acclaimed play “Sunset Baby.”
