Gather at the cafe’s front porch to enjoy a local bluegrass band performing.
Bluegrass developed in Appalachia during the 1940’s and has roots in traditional English, Scottish and Irish ballads as well as traditional African-American jazz. The term is derived from the band Bluegrass Boys which was led by pioneering singer/songwriter Bill Monroe (1911-1996).
