This 2023 computer animated film is the latest edition of the “Transformers” franchise.
The franchise began in 1984 with a line of toy robots that can change into an alternate form by rearranging its parts. It has since grown to include comic books, movies and other media. For this installment, a group of Transformers must protect their new home world — Earth — from the evil forces which destroyed their native planet.
Admission is free. Times given are approximations. The screening begins at dusk. Audience members are welcome to bring blankets or lawn chairs. Presented by the city’s parks department (a.k.a. CitiParks) and sponsored by financial services firm Dollar Bank.
