A quirky taken on the complex relationship between father and son, “Wajib” is the story of a successful architect living in Room who returns to Palestine for his sister’s wedding — and, hopefully, reconnect with his divorced father.
The word “wajib” refers to the religious duty of every Muslim. Presented as part of the Silk Screen Asian American Film Festival, part of the nonprofit Silk Screen organization’s efforts to celebrate diversity and multicultural Asian and Asian-American experience through cultural events.
