This amazing play shares the equally amazing true story of a woman and her inspiring action during the Holocaust.
One of the greatest state-sponsored crimes in human history, the Holocaust (1941-1945) was the systematic attempt at obliterating Jews, homosexuals and others deemed unacceptable by Nazi Germany (1933-1945). At least six million people perished.
That inspiring woman was Austrian artist, designer and educator Frederika “Friedl” Dicker-Brandeis (1898-1944), who taught Jewish children to make poems and drawings in secret art classes held at a concentration camp.
Presented by Prime Stage Theatre, whose mission is to entertain, inspire and enrich youth through professional theatre by bringing literature to life.
