Get an inside look at the first distillery in the City of Pittsburgh since before the 1920’s and learn how whiskey is made.
Whiskey is a distilled alcoholic beverage made from fermented grain mash and aged in wooden casks.
Each tour includes an explanation of the distillation process, a history of the Whiskey Rebellion (a 1791 protest against a tax) as told through the eyes of the company’s namesake Philip Wigle, and a seated tasting of straight spirits
The total length of a tour is 1 hour and is limited in size to ensure a fun experience for everyone. Tours are scheduled for Noon, 1:30 p.m., 3:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
