The 31st Street Pub is an intimate, funky pub and concert hall that has been hosting up-and-coming rock bands since 1962. It is located next to the 31st Street Bridge where the city’s two historic neighborhoods, the Strip District and Lawrenceville, meet.
The 31st Street Bridge is an arch bridge that opened in 1928. It bridges the city’s Strip District with the north side neighborhood of Troy Hill by spanning the Allegheny River. Both pedestrians and vehicles use it daily. The pub’s bright green façade is as hard to miss as the energetic music that echoes within its walls.
