Originally opened as a vaudeville theater in 1905, the Rex Theatre has been a fixture on Pittsburgh’s Southside for over a century. Today the Rex functions as a live concert venue with full service bar.

The theatre is notable for its stunning art deco façade including an impressive marquee.

The Rex can also host a variety of free movie nights, independent film screenings, plays, comedy shows, burlesque and belly dance shows, dance parties, private events, weddings and wedding receptions and private parties.

The theater is managed and booked by Grey Area Productions, a local full-service event promotions and production company.
