Chicago composer and multi-instrumentalist Weasel Walter is the driving force behind the free jazz ensemble called The Flying Luttenbachers. With an ever-changing set of artists, the band incorporates elements of punk, rock and death metal to tell the continuing story of Earth’s self-obliteration.
The band derived their moniker from former member (and avant-saxophonist/composer) Hal Russell’s birth name, Harold Luttenbacher.
Also performing are the bands Bearskull and Night Vapor.
