Musician and composer Carl “Buffalo” Nichols celebrates the joy, exuberance and triumph contained in the blues.
Born in Houston and raised in Milwaukee, the guitar provided young Carl with an outlet for self-expression and discovery. A globetrotting trip as an adult through West Africa and Europe opened his artistic vistas. The result is an observational, narrative-based approach to songwriting that wrestles with prescient topics.
