Pittsburgh’s first hot sauce festival sizzles all afternoon.
Humans have used chili peppers and other hot spices for thousands of years. Sauces were first bottle for sale in the United States in the early 1900s.
This festival will feature many local (and not-so-local) small batch craft hot sauce makers, who pride themselves in their craft. A disc jockey and a large room full of pinball machines, pool tables and air hockey will also be available for entertainment.
A portion of the proceeds benefit Animal Friends for Veterans, which is a dedicated program that connects veterans with pets, offering a range of services to support both veterans and their pets.
