Celebrating its 100th anniversary, the Martha Graham Dance Company presents a mixed repertory program.
Pioneering dancer, teacher and choreographer Martha Graham (1894-1991) is credited with creating a distinctive dance technique that is taught worldwide. Born and raised in what is now Pittsburgh’s North Side, she founded her eponymous company in 1926. It remains as the oldest dance company in the United States.
The evening includes a pre-show performance by Point Park University’s School of Dance students.
